Exploring My “Neighborhood”

Today’s assignment in the Blogging 101 course I’m taking is to “be a good neighbor” by exploring some other blogs in the WordPress Reader, and to comment on some blogs I haven’t commented on before. During my exploring earlier this week and today, I thought it might be a good idea to share some of what I found with you:

  • Novel Treks shared her experience attending a creative writing group session at her local public library, and how it helped her.
  • I read a great post on Sustaining Community on libraries and community engagement. Regular readers of A Life in Libraries can imagine how excited I was to read this post, and how much I agree with it!
  • Norfolk’s Great Big Read is all about Norfolk (England)’s 2015 Big Read event.
  • And finally, LibraryKristen gave me more books about management to add to my “to read” list.
