In libraries, we tend to have lots of meetings. I’ve told you this before.
And for the most part, we don’t even like these meetings! So why do we have them? Stop Holding Meetings That Don’t Matter suggests that most meetings are held to share information. But surprise, surprise, meetings are not the best way to share information! Instead, “the only good reason for a team to meet is to build and tap into collective wisdom.”
