Sometimes we want our employees to just solve problems. Just get it (whatever “it” is) done. Sometimes we want them to check with us. Sometimes we want them to come up with suggested solutions but run them by us. Which one do we want when? I have always had the belief and saying “There are no real problems, only potential solutions”.
