We all make mistakes. We are human. But sometimes it makes sense to look back and see if there was something we could have done differently. According to Jesse Lyn Stoner (Why Smart People Make Dumb Decisions), understanding why you ignored the warning signs can help you avoid repeating mistakes. Her list of 8 reasons we make dumb choices/decisions was helpful to me. I know I’ve made mistakes for some of these reasons, and I’m going to try to be more tuned into them in the future.
