A library (or any business/organization) doesn’t need a steamroller. That is, of course, unless the business is a construction company. Or, perhaps, if your library is in the process of constructing a new building.

I don’t have “people.” Heck, I don’t even have an office, a real job, or a department. But if I did, I’m pretty sure I’d find this article on building workplace relationships helpful.

In libraries, as in other workplaces, there are many employment laws and rules we must abide by.
Making Ends Meet
Sometimes, maybe especially in today’s economy, people are unable to find work, and may have to work two part-time jobs to make ends meet. It is no different for those working in libraries.
